UCI almost plays Belgian national anthem for Styby

The ceremony following the World Cup cross in Aigle was almost an embarrassing disaster for the UCI. In the shadow of UCI headquarters, the organization began playing the Belgian national anthem for our World Champion. Luckily the blunder was quickly caught, but the Czech national anthem wasn't immediately available. Zdenek was his usual calm self and cheerfully look around at the crowd which included his father. Following the short delay Stybar was able to enjoy his latest victory while listening to Kde domov muj?(Where is My Home?), the national anthem of the Czech Republic.

Last year the UCI forgot to play the Belgian national anthem after Niels Albert's victory in Nommay.
