Tomorrow we will ride the first classic of the season with the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. Back to those nervous races on small roads. It’s going tob e sunny, but very cold. I can’t wait for it.
Until now my season went fine with good races in Spain, with the Vuelta a Murcia and the Classico de Almeria. Last week I also rode the five-day-race Volta ao Algarve in Portugal.
But tomorrow it’s time for the first classic. We will start with a strong team: Philippe Gilbert, Niki Terpstra, Dries Devenyns, Iljo Keisse, Yves Lampaert, Fernando Gaviria and myself.
