Good news for the cyclocross fans. Zdenek will participate in two races at the end of his road season. He will start at the GP Mario De Clercq in Ronse (October 12) and the Kermiscross of Ardooie (October 16). “I’m looking forward to it”, he says.
“Because of my crash in the Eneco Tour, I had to miss a few weeks of competition”, says our champion. “That’s why I have still a lot of motivation to race. When they invited me to race in Ronse and Ardooie, I actually didn’t hesitated.”
“I’m really looking forward to wearing my rainbow jersey and jump on my Specialized CruX. But after those two, I will take some weeks off and rest. What races I will ride later this winter, I do not know yet. We will set out a nice program like we did last year.”
But first Zdenek will finish his road season at the Tour de l'Eurométropole this week.
